*pumped up*
Love the idea, arrangement, riffz and lead.
Mix is pretty muddy though.
Drum's are kinda weak and I feel that the song needs more dynamic range and better eq-ing.
Anyways, all the stuff refers to mixing. I'm sure you gonna go up from here. :)
Still tasty and epic composition.
Keep it up!

Barzoom responds:

Thanks man!

I have... really.. really lost base with mixing and mastering but I plan to brush it all up when I have time. Thanks for the call out. xox

Charming as hell.
Love the legato slides and main melody in general. :)
And that flute break was amazing.
Tells the story for sure.
Good job.

ShinsukeIto responds:

Thank you for the detailed review! :)

Dammit.
You and your leads.

Great work actually.
Decent mix, nice arrangement and buildup.
Some kind of more silent break later would come in handy.
Ending could also be better. Even if you landed just root note in the end.
Anyways, I love the verse melody and those rhytmic crash parts in chorus.
Good job, keep it up!

TayMX responds:

I'll take care your comment, give me time to improve on my melodies (It's funny because I'm doing this for hobby)

Thanks for the suggestion! ^^/

Great storytelling indeed. :D
Agree with all the reviews.
Love that sweet speed up transition to 'No Rest for the Weary'.
At that point you know it's not stopping until something happens. And it did.
Final Battle - my favorite part (obviously, duh).
Nicely wrapped up and composed.

ChronoNomad responds:

So happy to hear that the tale is well told! Thanks for such a kind review, endKashika. This was one of those projects that almost wrote itself, especially when it came to the thematic reprises. Not that it wasn't a lot of work, but the process had a very natural ebb and flow. Suffice to say, I could hardly be happier with the end result.

You made me feel strangely nostalgic.
Like I've played the game where this is (obviously) village theme.
General mood's bittersweet and lovely at the same time. Guess that's the reason.
Great composition. <3
And yes -
Spaghetti massacre.

Bertn1991 responds:

I'm glad I could bring you nostalgia. It's not a real game, sadly. Thanks for listening <3

Eep spaghetti massacre. Day = made ^.^

Melodic atmospheric piece! :)
I'd work a little more on instrument levels.
That bass ticking is a bit too loud, especially at 0:46 when lead kicks in.
1:50 is kinda weird moment and the ending has no impact. If you wanted to fade it out, maybe it good if you started fading it out even before. This felt like a sudden cut.
Honestly I really enjoyed the composition, your arrangement is pretty fine.
Little more work on production, and it's gonna be really great.
Great melodies for sure. :)
Keep it up.

kevinl responds:

Thanks for the feedback! Yep I always had that problem with the bass. Can't really do much bout it cause I made it on the garageband app.

best regards

Not bad.

I feel like you need some kind of catch in this one.
Seems too random with this piano melody.

Few suggestions:
Although I do love the dnb loop, I'd work more on transitions and changes within the song (starting from bass, drums too) and maybe adding some FX so it becomes more interesting and dynamic.
That 1:48 came all of a sudden, felt very strange, need polishing for sure.

Got the potential for sure.
Keep it up.

sapoman responds:

Thanks, I'll give your suggestions a try.

Simple yet very effective.
Not much to say here.
At the first listen it felt kinda weird on its own, but then I checked the game project link to find what the game is about.
Makes perfect sense now.
Certainly fits the theme and feels more modern/futuristic.
Good job.

ForgottenDawn responds:

Thanks, yeah. Like all soundtracks, they have to serve a purpose. On their own they might sound weird or out of place

Love the drops.
Although I am not fond of a genre, you always seem to come up with nice and interesting sound/arrangement and composition in general. :)

LegnaZeg responds:

thanks for checking it and glad you found it interesting!! seems like people didn't like it so much, XD
